MD Biomedics enters into a National Agreement to provide Service for Moeller Wedel Surgical Microscopes. Morrow, Ohio. MD Biomedics enters into an agreement with MD Microsurgical to provide ongoing service and support for Moeller Wedel surgical microscopes nationally. MD Microsurgical is the US management unit for sales and service for the surgical microscope manufacturer Moeller Wedel, Hamburg Germany. Moeller, known for innovation through its cutting edge technology, agreed to assign the US managment function to MD Microsurgical in an effort to restabilize its domestic distribution channel. The agreement, formed in March of (2006), paves the way for MD Microsurgical to align itself with the best in sales and service to meet the demanding quality and response requirements of the Moeller factory. Under the agreement, MD Biomedics personel will act as a customer call center and backup technical service provider to the existing dealer network. According to Matthias Freyberg of Moeller Wedel, "MD Microsurgical's charge in the United States is to make sure our current dealer network has all the tools they need to address every customer requirement". Part of the MD Microsurgical agreement stipulation is that all of MD Biomedics staff receive training on the latest Moeller advances, which include fly by wire technology, optical alignments, electronic theory and calibration standards. MD Biomedics, Based In south central Ohio, provides service on multiple types of medical instrumentation primarily in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. MD Biomedics' expertise includes in-house and infield service on products manufactured by Moeller, Zeiss, Leica, Skytron, TSO, Midmark, and many more. According To Marc Schnetzer, one of the company's founders, "MD Biomedics is committed to customer satisfaction by providing quality service in a timely manner. We do this in a way that is not obstructive to the continuation of the customers business by performing work when it's convenient for the customer rather than convenient for us". Schnetzer adds."We want our customers to trust us: to feel as if we are a part of their organization rather than a third party concern. We are so committed to this philosophy and so driven to establish that level of trust that we refuse to charge for a service if we are unable to repair what we were called out to fix". Both MD Microsurgical and MD Biomedics have implemented a simple structure to speed up requests for sales and support for Moeller Wedel customers. For sales and service, simply call either office and the appropriate personnel respond. Officially, all calls should be directed to the local dealer first, as they possess a more intimate knowledge of particular customer's need.. |
